Philadelphia 76ers Sign Hunter Sallis To Two-Way Contract

PHILADELPHIA — JULY 1, 2025 — Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed Hunter Sallis to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Sallis spent the 2024-25 season at Wake Forest, where his team-high 18.3 points per game scoring mark ranked fifth among all ACC players. He shot 45.7-percent from the field and 80.4-percent from the free throw line, in addition to averaging 5.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals, and an ACC-best 35.9 minutes in 32 games (all starts).
An All-ACC First Team selection, Sallis led the Demon Deacons in scoring (18.3), field goals (211), three-point field goals (43), and assists (90). He ranked fourth in the ACC in 2024-25 with 15 games of 20-plus points, including a season-high 31 points on 12-of-18 shooting (5-9 3FG) against Detroit Mercy on Nov. 23, 2024.
In his two collegiate seasons at Wake Forest, Sallis became the 10th player in program history to earn multiple All-ACC First Team honors. He produced 18.1 points on 47.2-percent shooting (79.5% FT), 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 steals in 66 games (all starts) across two years of action with the Demon Deacons.
Sallis began his collegiate career at Gonzaga, where he competed in 69 games over two seasons from 2021-23. He produced 11.1 points on 47.9-percent shooting in 135 career games at the collegiate level.
