PHILADELPHIA — JULY 5, 2025 — Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed Jabari Walker to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Walker, 22, joins the 76ers after posting career-high shooting marks in both field goal percentage (51.5% FG) and three-point shooting (38.9% 3FG) for Portland last season. He played in 60 games (one start) for the Trail Blazers in 2024-25, averaging 5.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per game. The Wichita, Kansas native tallied a double-double with 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting and a season-high 14 rebounds against Charlotte on Feb. 22, before pouring in a season-high 22 points on 8-of-9 shooting – including a perfect 6-for-6 shooting from beyond the arc – just six games later at Boston on March 5.
Selected by Portland with the 57th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Walker has produced 6.2 points on 46.5-percent shooting and 4.5 rebounds in 188 career games (24 starts) over three NBA seasons with the Trail Blazers. He ranked fourth on the team with 12 double-doubles throughout his first three NBA seasons. Walker has hauled in double-digit rebounds on 17 occasions in the NBA, including a career-best 22 rebound performance at Charlotte on April 3, 2024. He became the first Trail Blazer under the age of 22 to post 22-or-more rebounds since Bill Walton in 1974 (25). In his two collegiate seasons at Colorado from 2021-23, Walker averaged 11.5 points on 47.9-percent shooting (39.9% 3FG) and 7.2 rebounds in 59 collegiate contests (33 starts). He was named First Team All-Pac 12 as a freshman in 2021-22.
