Philadelphia 76ers Sign Justin Edwards To Standard NBA Contract

PHILADELPHIA – FEB. 9, 2025 – Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed Justin Edwards to a standard NBA contract.
After signing a two-way contract on July 4, 2024, Edwards has appeared in 22 games for the 76ers, averaging 8.1 points on 46.9-percent shooting (37.5% 3FG), 3.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. He has scored in double figures eight times this season – seven of which have come over the last 14 contests – including a career-high 25-point performance on 9-of-16 shooting (4-9 3FG) against Oklahoma City on Jan. 14 in 35 reserve minutes. Edwards is one of six rookies in the NBA this season to have reached the 25-point mark off the bench.
Edwards has started each of Philadelphia’s last seven games, averaging 10.3 points on 48.2-percent shooting (42.9% 3FG), 3.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.0 steals in 31.5 minutes per contest.
Prior to the NBA, Edwards spent one season at the University of Kentucky, where he averaged 8.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 32 games.
