Philadelphia 76ers Sign Lester Quinones To Two-Way Contract

PHILADELPHIA – SEPT. 26, 2024 - Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed Lester Quinones to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Last season, Quinones began the season as a two-way signee with Golden State before being converted to a standard NBA contract on Feb. 22. He ended the 2023-24 campaign averaging 4.4 points in his 37 NBA appearances and 23.6 points across 15 G League games (all starts).
Through two NBA seasons with Golden State, Quinones holds career averages of 4.2 points (37.0% 3FG) and 1.8 rebounds across 41 games.
Quinones originally signed a two-way contract with Golden State following the 2022 NBA Draft, and later signed with the team’s G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors. That season, he appeared in 31 regular-season G League games (all starts), averaging 21.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 32.0 minutes per game, earning 2022-23 NBA G League Most Improved Player honors. The Long Island, New York native also played in four NBA games after signing a two-way contract in March 2023.
Prior to the NBA, Quinones spent three seasons at the University of Memphis where he averaged 10.1 points (36.9% 3FG), 4.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game across 87 collegiate games (81 starts).
In a related move, the team has waived David Jones.
