Sacramento Kings Sign Dylan Cardwell To Multi-Year Contract

The Sacramento Kings announced today that the team has signed center Dylan Cardwell to a multi-year NBA contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In his first season, Cardwell is averaging 4.7 points (59.8 FG%), 7.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.7 blocks in 20.0 minutes per game in 25 appearances (1 start). Amongst rookies, he is second in rebounds and first in blocks per game while ranking 11^th in total rebounds (177) and third in total blocks (42). Cardwell has collected 10 or more rebounds in six games this season, tied for fourth-most among first-year players.

Cardwell appeared in 38 games at Auburn during the 2024-25 season, averaging 5.0 points (70.0 FG%), 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 20.3 minutes per game. Over five seasons for the Tigers, he posted career averages of 4.2 points (70.9 FG%), 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per contest in 166 games.
