South Bay Acquires Returning Player Rights To Devin Cannady

The South Bay Lakers have acquired the returning player rights to Devin Cannady from the Lakeland Magic in exchange for the returning player rights to Jordan Howard, a 2023 first round pick and two 2023 second round picks, it was announced today.
During the 2021-22 campaign, Cannady (6’2”, 183) appeared in 16 games (11 starts) for Lakeland, averaging 14.4 points 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 26.5 minutes per game while shooting 46.8 percent from three-point range. The Ivy League graduate played collegiate basketball at Princeton University. Cannady played five games with the Orlando Magic during the 2021-2022 season where he averaged 10.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 28.9 minutes per contest.
