Stockton Kings Aquire Returning Player Rights to Jordan Ford From Ontario Clippers in Exchange for Returning Player Rights to Sheldon Mac
Stockton, Calif. – Today, the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced that they have acquired the returning player rights to Jordan Ford from the Ontario Clippers in exchange for the returning player rights to Sheldon Mac and a second-round pick in the 2023 G League Draft.
Over two seasons in the NBA G League for Ontario, Ford has played in 46 games, averaging 11.2 points, and 3.5 assists per contest.
Ford appeared in 68 games (all starts) in his last two seasons at Saint Mary’s College (2018-20), posting averages of 21.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.0 blocks in 37.5 minutes per game. A 6-1 guard, Ford became the only Gaels player to record two 700-point seasons and ranks second in program history in career points (1,929).
