PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns today announced that the team has signed guard Collin Gillespie to a two-way contract.
Gillespie (6’-1”, 195 pounds) made his NBA debut with the Denver Nuggets last season, appearing in 24 games and averaging 3.6 points in 9.4 minutes. He also appeared in 12 games with the Grand Rapids Gold of the NBA G League last season, nearly averaging a triple-double with 20.4 points, 10.8 assists and 9.3 rebounds per game while shooting 44.8% from the field, 36.2% from three-point range and 82.8% from the free throw line.
