The Chicago Bulls Sign Tobe Awaka And Jaylin Sellers To Two-Way Contracts

The Chicago Bulls announced today the team has signed forward Tobe Awaka and guard Jaylin Sellers to two-way contracts. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Awaka, 6-8, 250, averaged 6.5 points (.607 FG%, .412 3FG%) and 6.4 rebounds in 16.1 minutes across 145 games (39starts) in his college career between stints with the University of Arizona (2024-26) and the University of Tennessee (2022-24). During the 2025-26 season, Awaka posted career-high clips of 9.3 points (.587 FG%, .417 3FG%) and 9.1 rebounds in 20.8 minutes through 39 games (three starts) for the Wildcats en route to Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year honors.
The Hyde Park, N.Y. native led the Big 12 in rebounds (353), offensive boards (138) and games played (39) in 2025-26, while ranking second among all Division I men’s players in rebounding percentage (23.5) and setting a Big 12 record for rebounding percentage in a career (23.0). His activity on the glass was highlighted by an 18-rebound performance against Utah Tech on Nov. 7, making him the fourth player in college basketball history tally at least 18 rebounds in less than 20 minutes played.
Awaka has also suited up in international competition for the United States, appearing in seven games (six starts) as a member of USA Basketball's 2023 FIBA Men's U19 World Cup team in Debrecen, Hungary. During the tournament, Awaka averaged 11.6 points and 10.6 rebounds, leading all participants in double-doubles (4) and finishing second among all players in rebounds per game.
Sellers, 6-5, 205, averaged 13.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 27.5 minutes across 131 games (101 starts) in his collegiate career, playing for Providence College (2025-26), the University of Central Florida (2023-25) and Ball State University (2021-23). With Providence in 2025-26, Sellers was named to the 2025-26 All-Big East Second Team after posting collegiate career-high averages of 18.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 30.0 minutes through 33 games (all starts).
Sellers finished the 2025-26 season as the Big East scoring champion (19.6 ppg in 20 league games), along with leading the conference throughout the entirety of the season in scoring average (18.3), total points (605) and free-throw percentage (.859). Sellers also led the Big East in games with 20-plus points (14) and ranked second in total three-pointers made (79), including single-game career highs of 36 points and six threes made in a win against Butler on Feb. 4.
Prior to Providence, the Columbus, Ga. native played his junior season at the University of Central Florida and averaged 15.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 31.9 minutes through 33 games (32 starts). During his freshman and sophomore campaigns with Ball State, Sellers earned 2022-23 All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) Third Team honors along with a selection to the 2021-22 MAC All-Freshman Team.
