The Denver Nuggets Sign Cam Whitmore To A Two-Way Contract

DENVER, CO (Sept. 22, 2026) – The Denver Nuggets have signed forward Cam Whitmore to a two-way contract, Ben Tenzer, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations and Jonathan Wallace, Executive Vice President of Player Personnel, announced today.

Whitmore, 6-6, 230, has appeared in 119 career games (five starts) with Houston and Washington, holding career averages of 10.5 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 45.0% from the field and 34.9% from three in 17.3 minutes per game. Last season, Whitmore appeared in 21 games for the Wizards, posting averages of 9.2 points and 2.8 rebounds, while shooting 45.6% from the field in 16.9 minutes per game.

The 22-year-old was drafted by the Houston Rockets with the 20th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He played one season for the University of Villanova, averaging 12.5 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 47.8% from the field and 34.3% from three in 27.4 minutes per game.

Whitmore will wear #00 for the Nuggets.
