Timberwolves Sign Forward Enrique Freeman To Two-Way Contract

Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team has signed forward Enrique Freeman to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released. 

Freeman, 6-7, was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 50th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, seeing action in 22 games (one start) for the Pacers during his rookie campaign, averaging 2.1 points on 43.2% shooting and 1.4 rebounds in 8.2 minutes per game. On April 13, Freeman tallied a season-high eight points and a season-high eight rebounds, helping the Pacers to a road win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

In addition to his time with the Pacers, the Cleveland, Ohio native, played in 16 games (all starts) for the Indiana Mad Ants of the NBA G League, averaging 16.9 points on 53.9% shooting, 9.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.4 blocks in 33.6 minutes per game. Freeman saw action in two NBA G League Playoff games (both starts) with the Mad Ants, averaging 7.5 points on 53.8% shooting, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 35.8 minutes per contest. 

Most recently, Freeman played five games (all starts) for the Pacers entry in the NBA 2K26 Summer League in Las Vegas, averaging 16.6 points on 71.8% shooting, a Summer League-leading 9.6 rebounds (min. five games), 2.0 assists and 1.8 blocks in 27.8 minutes per game.
