Utah Jazz Sign Micah Potter To Two-Way Contract

The Utah Jazz have signed forward Micah Potter to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Potter (6-10, 248, Wisconsin) has spent two seasons with the Jazz on a two-way contract, seeing action with Utah in 23 games with averages of 3.3 points on 52.7 percent from the field and 46.4 percent from three-point range, along with 2.6 boards in 10.3 minutes per contest.

In two campaigns with the Salt Lake City Stars, the official G league affiliate of the Utah Jazz, the Mentor, Ohio native has appeared in 45 regular season games (41 starts), owning averages of 15.3 points on 51.6 percent shooting and 38.4 percent from beyond the arc, along with 9.2 boards, 2.7 assists, and 1.4 blocks in 29.6 minutes per contest. 

In June 2024, the 26-year-old was selected to be a member of the 2024 USA Basketball Men’s Select Team. The team trained with the USA Basketball Men’s National Team as they prepared for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

A four-year collegiate player, Potter competed for Ohio State (2016-18) and Wisconsin (2019-21), owning career averages of 7.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 15.9 minutes per contest. As a Badger, he owned averages of 11.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 20.3 minutes per game.
