Vipers Acquire Keyshawn Bryant

EDINBURG, Texas (Oct. 28, 2023) – Following the conclusion of the draft, the Windy City Bulls agreed to trade Keyshawn Bryant to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In exchange, RGV traded the returning player rights to Marcus Derrickson to Windy City. This trade is not subject to a physical. 

Bryant (6-6, 190lbs.) was selected as the 47th overall pick in the 2023 NBA G League Draft by Windy City. He recently graduated from South Florida University where he played in 25 games and averaged 9.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists, rebounds and steals. 

Prior to his time at South Florida, he spent the 2018-22 seasons playing for South Carolina. In 98 games he averaged 9.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals and blocks.
