Warriors Sign Ömer Yurtseven To A 10-Day Contract

SAN FRANCISCO – The Golden State Warriors have signed center Ömer (oh-MIAR) Yurtseven (yurts-seven) to a 10-day contract, it was announced today.

Yurtseven, has appeared in three games (all starts) with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers this season, averaging 23.0 points on 56.9% shooting from the field, 13.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 29.7 minutes per game. The 6’11” center originally signed with the Vipers on March 4, 2026.

Yurtseven owns career NBA averages of 5.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 11.8 minutes in 113 games (24 starts) over three seasons with the Miami Heat and Utah Jazz. Undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft, he played collegiately at NC State (2016–18) and Georgetown (2019–20). He also spent two seasons (2024–26) with Panathinaikos of the Greek League.
