Player Bio
Govan, a member of Ignite’s inaugural roster, returns for his second stint with the team. He appeared in eight games last season in Orlando single-site competition, averaging 7.8 points and 2.6 rebounds before he was sidelined with a season-ending injury. He rejoined Ignite after signing with Indios de Mayagüez (Puerto Rico), where he averaged 16.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He got his pro start joining the Raptors for 2019 NBA Summer League action, and following Summer League, Govan played with both San-en NeoPhoenix and Kyoto Hannaryz in the Japanese league. Govan was a standout among Big East players in his four years at Georgetown, averaging 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in his final season with the Hoyas.
