Atlanta Hawks Sign Forward Jalen Wilson to Two-Way Contract

ATLANTA – The Atlanta Hawks have signed forward Jalen Wilson to a two-way contract, the team announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Wilson, originally drafted 51st overall by the Brooklyn Nets in the 2023 NBA Draft, has spent the last three seasons with the Nets, appearing in 176 games (27 starts), averaging 7.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 20.2 minutes.
In 54 contests last season (2 starts), the 6-6 forward compiled 6.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 15.9 minutes. He netted 10-or-more points in 10 games during the 2025-26 campaign and poured in his 1,000th career point on Nov. 3 against Minnesota.
Signed to a two-way contract by the Nets on July 5, 2023, Wilson was then signed to a multi-year contract on March 1, 2024. He was named the Most Valuable Player of the NBA 2k25 Summer League in 2024 after averaging 21.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assist in five games played.
Born in Denton, Texas, Wilson played in 104 career games (89 starts) in four collegiate seasons at the University of Kansas. He averaged 14.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 30.7 minutes, appeared in 9 NCAA Tournament games, and helped lead the Jayhawks to the national championship in 2022.
