Donovan Williams Signs Two-Way Contract With Atlanta Hawks

LONG ISLAND (Jan. 17, 2023) – Long Island Nets forward Donovan Williams has signed a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks. The call-up marks the 12th in Long Island history, the first for the team this season and the first for Williams.

Williams appeared in 18 games (11 starts) for Long Island in the 2022 NBA G League Showcase Cup, registering averages of 15.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 28.9 minutes per contest. He also played in eight games (all starts) for the Nets in the regular season, recording averages of 15.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 27.2 minutes per game. Williams was originally acquired by Long Island as an affiliate player from the Brooklyn Nets.
