Atlanta Hawks Sign Eli Ndiaye to a Two-Way Contract

The Atlanta Hawks have signed Eli Ndiaye (el-lee EN-jai) to a two-way contract, the team announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Ndiaye appeared in 65 games (50 starts) across all leagues (ACB, EuroLeague, Spanish Cup, ACB SuperCup) with Real Madrid (Spain) during the 2024-25 season, averaging 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 14.0 minutes of play. He started and saw action in 12 minutes in Real Madrid’s 81-70 victory over Valencia Basket on June 25, leading Real Madrid to its second consecutive Liga ACB championship. 

A native of Senegal, Ndiaye made his first team debut for Real Madrid on September 12, 2021, in a win over Barca. Over the course of his career with Real Madrid, Ndiaye won eight titles: one European Cup, one Copa del Rey, three Spanish Super Cups and three league titles.

He joined the Real Madrid Academy in the 2017-18 season, winning the Junior European Cup in 2020-21, earning MVP honors.
