Ignite Looks To Continue Playoff Push Against Memphis Hustle

Now more than halfway through the regular season, NBA G League Ignite continues to make its G League playoff push on Wednesday when the team takes on the Memphis Hustle at 3 p.m. from AdventHealth Arena at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The action airs live on ESPN2.
Jalen Green has scored in double figures in all eight games this season to lead Ignite with 17.6 points per game. The rookie is coming off his fourth 20-point performance of the season, scoring 21 in the loss to Long Island. His rookie teammates round out Ignite’s top four scoring leaders with Jonathan Kuminga (16.6), Isaiah Todd (11.0) and Daishen Nix (9.6) all sitting in the top four. Nix also leads Ignite in assists at 5.3 per game.
Memphis is on a two-game skid after close losses to Erie (107-103) and Raptors 905 (119-117), led by Tyrell Terry’s 18.4 points per game. Ahmad Caver is shooting 52.4 percent (11-21) from downtown, good for fifth in the league, and is among the top three in steals per game (2.4, 3rd). On the defensive end, Freddie Gillespie is seventh among league leaders for his 2.0 blocks per game average.
