New York Knicks Sign Dmytro Skapintsev To Two-Way Contract

NEW YORK, December 23, 2023 - The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed center Dmytro Skapintsev to a Two-Way contract.
Skapintsev, 25-years-old (7-1, 215 pounds), is averaging 5.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 blocks in 13 games this season for the Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks.
The Cherkasy, Ukraine native averaged 8.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 27 games (eight starts) last season as a member of the Westchester Knicks. During the 2022-23 G League Showcase Cup, Skapinstev registered 4.3 points and 4.1 rebounds over 14.5 minutes in 15 games (three starts). Skapintsev appeared in five games for the Knicks 2023 Summer League team in Las Vegas, NV. He averaged 7.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 blocks over 17.3 minutes. He also made an appearance in the 2022 FIBA Europe Cup with Kyiv-Basket Club and recorded 8.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists.
