Orlando Magic Re-Sign Colin Castleton to Two-Way Contract

ORLANDO – The Orlando Magic have signed re-signed center Colin Castleton to a two-way contract, President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal are not disclosed.
Castleton (6’11”, 250, 5/25/00) played in four games last season with Orlando, averaging 1.3 ppg. and 2.0 rpg. in 5.3 minpg. He also played in 18 regular season NBA G League outings (16 starts) with Osceola, averaging 17.6 ppg., 11.0 rpg., 2.1 apg. and 1.17 blkpg. in 28.4 minpg., while shooting .565 (105-186) from the floor.
Undrafted by an NBA franchise, Castleton has appeared in 46 career NBA regular season games (four starts) with the L.A. Lakers, Memphis, Toronto, Philadelphia and Orlando, averaging 3.3 ppg. and 3.1 rpg. in 11.1 minpg. He has also played in 49 career NBA G League regular season games (46 starts) with South Bay, Memphis, Osceola and Raptors 905, averaging 17.0 ppg., 10.5 rpg., 2.6 apg. and 1.22 blkpg. in 29.1 minpg., while shooting .570 (305-535) from the floor.
Castleton played in 122 career games (75 starts) during five combined seasons at the University of Michigan (2018-20) and the University of Florida (2020-23), averaging 10.4 ppg., 5.6 rpg., 1.2 apg. and 1.73 blkpg. in 20.9 minpg. He led the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in blocked shots during his grad season (2022-23). Castelton was named to the 2022-23 All-SEC First Team (coaches), the All-SEC Second Team twice (2020-21 and 2021-22) and to the 2022-23 SEC All-Defensive Team.
