The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has signed guard Jaylen Nowell. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Nowell, 6-4, 201, has appeared in 197 NBA games (four starts) across five seasons with Minnesota, Memphis and Detroit. Selected with the 43rd overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Nowell holds career averages of 8.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 17.0 minutes per contest.
The University of Washington product appeared in 13 games (one start) for Memphis and Detroit during the 2023-24 season, posting averages of 6.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 minutes in 16.5 minutes per game.
