Rockets Sign Crawford, Davison To Two-Way Contracts

HOUSTON – The Houston Rockets today announced they have signed forward Isaiah Crawford and guard JD Davison to two-way contracts.
Crawford (6-6, 220) was eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft after being named Conference USA’s Defensive Player of the Year in his fifth season with Louisiana Tech. He spent 2024-25 as a two-way player with Sacramento while also helping their G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings, win the championship. In 24 G League season games, Crawford averaged 13.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.21 steals and 1.21 blocks while shooting 50.2% from the floor and 44.7% from 3-point range.
Davison (6-3, 215) was the 53rd overall pick by Boston in the 2022 NBA Draft following his freshman season at Alabama. He spent the past three seasons as a two-way player for the Celtics prior to being converted to a standard contract in April. Davison was named the 2024-25 Kia NBA G League Most Valuable Player after averaging 25.1 points, 7.5 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.40 steals in 30 regular season games for Maine. Among qualifiers, he ranked second in the G League in scoring and fourth in assists.
