Thunder Signs Barnhizer, Dix and Oweh to Two-Way Contracts

OKLAHOMA CITY, July 3, 2026 – The Oklahoma City Thunder has signed guard/forward Brooks Barnhizer and guards Josh Dix and Otega Oweh to Two-Way Contracts, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.
Barnhizer (6-6, 226) appeared in 40 games last season for the Thunder and averaged 1.7 points and 2.0 rebounds in 8.8 minutes per game. The Indiana native saw action in 21 G League games last season with the Oklahoma City Blue where he averaged 18.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.62 steals in 33.1 minutes. Barnhizer was originally selected by the Thunder with the 44th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Dix (6-5, 206) recently completed his senior season at Creighton where he appeared in 34 games (all starts) and averaged 13.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 32.9 minutes per game. Dix totaled 131 career games (86 starts) between Creighton and Iowa and averaged 9.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 24.9 minutes per game.
Oweh (6-4, 217) was drafted 41st overall by the Thunder in the 2026 NBA Draft after he appeared in 36 games (all starts) with the University of Kentucky last season and averaged 18.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals. The New Jersey native led the Wildcats in scoring and steals during his senior season and he was twice named to the All-SEC Second Team. Oweh finished with the most points scored by a player during their first two seasons at Kentucky in school history (1,255).
