Washington Signs Keshon Gilbert to 10-Day Contract

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Wizards announced today they have signed Keshon Gilbert to a 10-day contract. 

Gilbert (6-4, 200) is a 22-year-old guard in his rookie season who spent time with Washington during the 2025-26 preseason. He is averaging 13.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game in 30 appearances with the Capital City Go-Go. Gilbert tallied the only triple-double for the Go-Go this season with a 25-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist game on Jan. 1 at Westchester. He has notched 10+ points in 18 games and 20+ in eight games, including a season-high 33-point outing, adding six rebounds and 10 assists on Dec. 5 at the 905.  

The St. Louis, Missouri native played two seasons at UNLV before finishing his collegiate career with two seasons at Iowa State, posting career averages of 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 31.3 minutes per game. He was selected to the All-Big 12 Third Team as a senior in 2025, after averaging 13.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.
