Charlotte Hornets Sign Wendell Moore Jr. To Two-Way Contract

Charlotte Hornets President of Basketball Operations Jeff Peterson announced today the team has signed guard Wendell Moore Jr. to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Moore Jr. appeared in 20 games this season with the Detroit Pistons, recording 3.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 11.0 minutes per contest. He was originally selected by the Dallas Mavericks in the first round (26th overall) of the 2022 NBA Draft and spent his first two seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
A native of Charlotte, Moore Jr. won back-to-back state championships at Cox Mill High School before playing three seasons at Duke University, where he earned an All-ACC selection and received the Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year award in his final campaign.
