Raptors Sign Chomche To Two-Way Contract

The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday they have signed centre Ulrich Chomche (ULL-rish SHOM-shay) to a two-way contract. Per team policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Chomche, 6-foot-10, 232 pounds, appeared in 26 games with NBA Academy Africa during the 2023-24 season, averaging 8.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 24.3 minutes. He spent the previous two years (2022-23) playing in the Basketball Africa League.
A native of Baham, Cameroon, Chomche was picked 57th overall by Minnesota in the 2024 NBA Draft and his draft rights were acquired by Toronto on July 6 for cash considerations. Born Dec. 30, 2005, Chomche was the youngest player in the 2024 NBA Draft class.
