Rockets Sign Jack McVeigh To Two-Way Contract

HOUSTON – The Houston Rockets today announced they have signed forward Jack McVeigh to a two-way contract. He is currently preparing to compete for Australia in the 2024 Paris Olympics alongside Rockets center Jock Landale.
McVeigh (6-7, 205) was eligible for the 2019 NBA Draft. Following his junior season at Nebraska in 2017-18, McVeigh joined the Adelaide 36ers in Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL).
Last season, McVeigh helped Tasmania win the NBL championship and was named Grand Final MVP. He hit a 3-pointer just inside half court to win Game 3 of the Finals. In a combined 37 season and playoff games, McVeigh averaged 17.3 points while shooting 52.1% from the floor, 39.8% from 3-point range and 84.2% from the foul line.
