The 2024 NBA Draft presented by State Farm is just around the corner, and a handful of G League standouts will be looking to hear their named called during the two-day event.
Overall, 14 familiar faces from around the G will look to continue to build up their stock in preparation for the draft over the next few weeks. While six G League Ignite stars are among the most prominent names that have factored into the pre-draft process thus far, they're not alone. Eight additional players who played in the G League last season to further refine and develop their games while remaining draft-eligible have been preparing with the same hopes of achieving their NBA goals.
The 2024 NBA Draft presented by State Farm can be watched on June 26 at 8 PM/ET and June 27 at 4 PM/ET on ABC and ESPN.
Abdullah Ahmed
Height: 6'10"

Age: 20
Team: Westchester Knicks
A 6-foot-10 center from Egypt, Ahmed was selected by the Westchester Knicks in the 2023 NBA G League International Draft with the 6th overall pick. The 20-year-old averaged 4.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in 27 games during the 2023-24 season. He had five games with 10+ rebounds and 2+ blocks, setting career highs in both categories with his 16-rebound, 4-block performance on Feb. 22 against Windy City. The NBA Draft early entrant developed a nice role for himself in the Westchester rotation down the stretch of the Regular Season, logging 20+ minutes in nine of the team’s last 15 games after only doing so in three of his first 12 with the team.

Izan Almansa
Height: 6'10"

The 19-year-old Almansa officially signed with Ignite in June of 2023, joining alongside fellow OTE alum Tyler Smith. In his season debut, he posted 7 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals. He recorded his first double-double with Ignite two weeks later with 22 points and 10 rebounds against the South Bay Lakers. Across the entire season, he scored in double figures 25 times for Ignite - including five games with 20+ points - and racked up seven double-doubles. He flashed visions of stellar playmaking from the post, finishing with 3+ assists nine different times while also racking up multiple blocks eight times.

Matas Buzelis
Height: 6'10"

Team: G League Ignite
The 6-foot-10 Buzelis showcased his diverse skillset throughout the season for Ignite, averaging 14.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.9 blocks across 34 total games while shooting 45.3 percent from the field. His 2.1 blocks per game in the Regular Season were good enough to finish tied for fourth in the G League. The 19-year-old prospect scored 20+ points in seven games and made at least two 3-pointers in eight games while also finishing the Regular Season with six double-doubles.

Thierry Darlan
Height: 6'8"

In March 2023, Darlan became the sixth NBA Academy graduate and the third from NBA Academy Africa to sign with Ignite. The 20-year-old saw action in 45 games on the year, averaging 5.4 points and seven double-digit scoring performances while posting multiple steals nine times. This summer, he finished eighth in the Basketball Africa League scoring race, averaging 17.7 points per game for his hometown Bangui Sporting Club. He also finished eighth in rebounding, pulling down 8.7 per game.

Ron Holland
Height: 6'8"

Team: G League Ignite
After originally considering multiple NCAA offers, the 6-foot-8 Holland ultimately decided to turn pro and join Ignite. Across Showcase Cup and Regular Season action, he led the team in scoring (19.5 PTS) and steals per game (2.4 STL) while also recording 6.7 REB. He had 15 games with at least 20 points and 5 rebounds as well as eight performances with 25+ points, always showing off his excellent ability to score while driving to the basket in addition to his top-tier defensive skills. Despite missing the back end of the season, Holland led Ignite in scoring 13 times and recorded 2+ steals in 20 of his 29 games played.

Djordije Jovanovic
Height: 6'7"

Team: Ontario Clippers
Originally from Montenegro, the 21-year-old Jovanovic spent the majority of his youth career playing in Serbia. After starting with Partizan Belgrade of the Serbian ABA League, he made the move to their affiliate team, OKK Dunav, of the KLS. During the 2021-22 season with the club, he posted 13.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while shooting over 36% from three-point range in 23 games of action.
The 6-foot-7 forward has spent the last two seasons with the Ontario Clippers since joining them in 2022. This past season, he averaged 5.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game, recording 10 double-digit scoring performances overall.

Teafale Lenard Jr.

Team: Texas Legends
After a standout career at Snyder High School in Jersey City, NJ, the 21-year-old Lenard played his college career at Middle Tennessee State. As a sophomore, he posted 8.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.6 steals per game, earning Conference USA All-Defensive Team honors. His 61 total blocks were fourth-most in a season in program history and he recorded 12 games with multiple blocks and steals, the most in Division 1.
The 6-foot-8 forward was selected 2nd overall by the South Bay Lakers in the 2023 NBA G League Draft, and had his rights immediately traded to the Texas Legends for No. 1 overall pick Jack White. In 24 games with the Legends across Showcase Cup and the Regular Season, he averaged 4.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 0.9 steals per game. He scored in double digits three times and had seven 2+ steal showings, including his career-high 24-point, 7-rebound, 2-steal performance in February against Sioux Falls.

Malique Lewis

Team: Mexico City Capitanes
Lewis was selected first overall in the 2023 NBA G League International Draft by the Mexico City Capitanes. He posted 8.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game on the year between Showcase Cup and Regular Season action, recording four double-doubles overall. His 5.8 rebounds were good for 4th-most on the Capitanes while his 1.1 blocks were 3rd-most. He scored 15+ points during seven games and showcased impressive shooting range by hitting at least three 3-pointers during five different games. The 19-year-old was invited to the NBA G League Elite Camp in Chicago ahead of the NBA Draft Combine.

Isiaih Mosley
Height: 6'5"

Team: Rip City Remix
Hailing from Missouri, Mosley made a name for himself in his home state. He was named Mr. Show-Me Basketball as the best high school player in Missouri following his senior year in 2019, during which he averaged 23.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. He went on to spend his first three years of college at Missouri State, where he earned First Team All-MVC honors twice and posted 20.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game as a junior. He completed his college career at Missouri, averaging 9.6 points across 14 games.
A 6-foot-5 forward, Mosley was selected 8th overall by the Greensboro Swarm in the 2023 NBA G League Draft. The 24-year-old also had stints during the 2023-24 season with the Rip City Remix and Wisconsin Herd, averaging 4.7 points and 2.3 rebounds across 13 Regular Season games with the Herd.

David Muoka
Height: 6'10"

Originally from Hong Kong before attending prep school in Canada, Muoka started his college career at Lamar University. As a sophomore, he was named Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year for the 2020-21 season after recording 5.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game before spending his final two years at UNLV.
Muoka went on to be selected 3rd overall by the Capital City Go-Go in the 2023 NBA G League Draft. The 6-foot-10 center appeared in 38 games with the Long Island Nets across Winter Showcase and regular season action, averaging 4.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per contest. He recorded 2+ blocks in 13 of those games, including a pair of career-high 6-block performances. He came on strong down the stretch for the Nets, settling into a key role for their run in the G League Playoffs and averaging 8.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals across their three games. The 23-year-old big man is seeking to become the first NBA player from Hong Kong.

Pavel Savkov

Team: Birmingham Squadron
A native of Russia, Savkov spent the majority of his amateur career overseas developing with Spanish club Baskonia. Across 10 games with the club’s reserve team during the 2022-23 season, he posted 13.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game while shooting over 39% from 3-point range before being called up to the main club.
The 22-year-old Savkov was selected with the 6th overall pick of the 2023 NBA G League Draft by the Birmingham Squadron. The 6-foot-7 forward appeared in 13 games for the team throughout Winter Showcase and the Regular Season, posting 3.2 points per contest while shooting better than 42% from 3-point range across just over six minutes per game. After finishing the season with the Squadron, he has played in 13 games for Guuk Gipuzkoa Basket in Spain, averaging 4.9 points and 1.8 rebounds.

Babacar Sane
Height: 6'7"

Following the 2022 BAL season, Sane joined Ignite in October of that year. In his first season with the team, the 6-foot-7 forward averaged 6.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 41 games of action during the 2022-23 season. That campaign saw the 20-year-old forward flash signs of athletic dominance to come, including an double-double against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in January where he scored 17 points and pulled down an Ignite team-record 18 rebounds while also draining a career-high three 3-pointers. Year two with Ignite saw him bump his numbers up to 10.6 points and 5.7 rebounds in 31 games, including eight 15+ point performances and two 20-10 double-doubles.

Tyler Smith
Height: 6'11"

Smith signed with Ignite in June of 2023. This past year, the 19-year-old averaged 13.7 points and 5.1 rebounds between Showcase Cup and Regular Season action, recording seven 20+ point performances overall. His 589 total points scored was the most by any Ignite player this season, and he made multiple 3-pointers in 18 games. He showed that he’s capable of scoring from anywhere on the court, whether it be from deep, from the midrange, or down low as a roller. He hit 60 percent of his left corner 3-pointers during the Regular Season, and excelled on the pick and pop as the season progressed.

Bryson Warren

Team: Sioux Falls Skyforce
Following his two seasons with Overtime Elite, Warren entered the 2023 NBA G League Draft and was selected 13th overall by the Sioux Falls Skyforce. In 27 games of action across Showcase Cup and the Regular Season, he averaged 6.9 points across 17.4 minutes per game, which included six 15+ point performances. The 19-year-old guard showcased his ability to hit from long range throughout the season, draining multiple 3-pointers during 11 games for Sioux Falls.
